This Privacy Policy explains how Korean Auto Parts handles personal information through koreanautoparts.com and the Korean Auto Parts mobile app when available. Descriptions of optional features apply when you use those features.
Information you provide
When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, phone number if provided, vehicle details, optional VIN or chassis number, part descriptions and numbers, quantities, destination country and postal code, and correspondence.
If photo attachments are available, we receive the images you choose to submit. Please avoid including unrelated personal information in photographs or messages. Do not submit payment-card details, passwords, or government identification.
If you use an account or My Garage, we process account identifiers, your name and email address, saved vehicle information, and information needed to authenticate your account. When you choose Apple or Google sign-in, the provider supplies identifiers and profile information you authorize. Apple may provide a private relay email address. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
Technical information and preferences
Our website, hosting infrastructure, and service providers process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, and security or diagnostic logs to deliver and protect the service. Cookies and local storage may maintain sign-in sessions, language preferences, and vehicle selections.
Website automatic language selection may contact Country.is to estimate your country from your IP address when a saved or supported browser-language choice is unavailable. Your manual language selection takes priority. This does not use device GPS location.
How we use information
We use information to review vehicle and part compatibility, prepare and respond to quotations, assess shipping options, provide support, maintain accounts and saved vehicles, remember preferences, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.
A quote request is not an order. The current quote-only service does not collect payment through checkout.
How information is shared
Quote requests are stored in our website administration system and emailed to our sales team. Hosting, email, authentication, and technical service providers process information needed to operate their services.
Relevant vehicle, part, and destination information may be shared with suppliers to prepare your requested quote. A VIN may be needed to review compatibility. We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the service and its users.
Third-party sign-in services and websites you visit through external links have their own privacy policies.
Mobile permissions
If the mobile app offers camera or photo attachments, you can choose whether to grant the permissions requested for those features. You can manage granted permissions through your device settings. Information you submit using those features is handled as described in this policy.
Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for your inquiry, account, operational requirements, and applicable legal obligations. Retention varies by record type, including correspondence, account records, security logs, and backups.
Some information may be retained after a deletion request where needed for legal compliance, security, or dispute resolution. Protected backup copies may remain until replaced through normal backup processes.
We use safeguards intended to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your privacy choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information or account by emailing sales@koreanautoparts.com. Identify the account email and describe your request. Do not send passwords or government identification. We may verify account control before completing a request.

Children
Our service is intended for people seeking automotive parts and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address the information.
